Green and Jackson Ordained to the Gospel

Mercy Gate Church in Box Elder ordained two young men to the gospel ministry last month. Brad Green and John Jackson were examined by an ordination council of area pastors. The council then laid hands on the two men and the church set them aside for gospel ministry.

Green is the new associate pastor at Mercy Gate. Jackson is the youth/worship pastor. The church will soon be saying goodbye to their former associate pastor, Canyon Shearer. Shearer, a chaplain with the U.S. Air Force serving at Ellsworth AFB, will soon transfer to Cannon AFB in Portales, NM.
