Cooperative Program
Since its establishment 30 years ago, the Dakota Baptist Convention has been committed to fulfilling the Great Commission.
One of the ways we do that is through a collaborative initiative called the Cooperative Program. The Cooperative Program works by pooling the tithes and incomes of people across the nation to help support the work of God’s Kingdom.
The Cooperative Program begins with you giving back to your local church and being a faithful steward of the resources God has given you (Lev. 27:30, Mal. 3:10). From there, your church gives to the Dakota Baptist Convention.
The Dakota Baptist Convention supports ministries here in the Dakotas such as the Disaster Relief Program, aiding the displaced families from the Minot Floods in North Dakota. The funds have also been used on a global scale, bringing the Gospel to unreached people in Africa.
The money also goes to starting churches in the Black Hills around university campuses to train and equip future leaders and pastors around the Dakotas.
Finally, the Dakota Baptist Convention sends a percentage of our annual budget to the Southern Baptist Convention, as the convention supports impacting ministries and over 10,000 missionaries around the world.
Ultimately, by participating in the Cooperative Program, you can help fulfill the Great Commission. By graciously giving, you allow the Gospel to be spread right here in the Dakotas as well as across the globe.
