Belle Fourche Church Provides Evangelism Training for Interns

Three interns are assisting Connection Church in Belle Fourche to reach their city for Christ this summer. Ashton Rone, the pastor of worship and small groups for Connection, is coordinating their work.

Over a series of three weeks, Rone invited Dakota Baptist evangelism intern Segun Adeyemo to provide training and encouragement for the interns in how to share the gospel by using their personal testimony. Adeyemo took the team through “the 5Ps” (see Adeyemo’s related article above) and encouraged them to develop an organized sharing of their story that they can be ready to use whenever God provides an opportunity.

Connection Church annually invites two or three college-age students to spend their summer in Belle Fourche. This year’s interns are Spencer Carlisle, Larson Lewis, and Parker Whittington. All three are from Mississippi.
