Night to Shine 2023 at New Life on Main
On February 10th, 2023 New Life on Main in Harvey, ND hosted Night to Shine, sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation. The unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love, celebrates people with special needs and was held in-person by host churches around the world simultaneously on Friday, February 10th. New Life on Main hosted this event for their 3rd time and was excited to be a part of this worldwide movement. New Life on Main believes that God is using Night to Shine as a catalyst to change how cultures embrace people with disabilities and to rally the church worldwide to honor their local communities of people with special needs, ensuring they know they are valued and loved.
At Night to Shine, our guests received the royal treatment, including hair and makeup stations, limousine rides, corsages and boutonnieres, a catered dinner, prom favors, and a dance floor. The special stations, food, and gifts all led up to the moment when each guest was crowned king or queen of the prom. Guests were all crowned by Mrs. North Dakota International, Misty Ibach. Honored guests in attendance numbered 67, and over 100 volunteers joined to help. Family members and care providers looked on throughout the evening as the guests took part in all the prom festivities. The church was filled to near capacity with fun, dancing, and lots of laughter! Harvey and surrounding communities came together to make this event a huge success. Local and regional businesses made generous financial contributions and many donated goods or services to the event.
New Life on Main is excited to host Night to Shine again in 2024! The church loves sharing God’s love with their community of people with special needs.
